Here's how you can foster diversity and inclusion in your team.
Policies are normally formed by HR teams and managemnets in closed offices. The best way to form policies is by empowering a "lighthouse team" of members from diverse background and teams including looking at inclusivity on the basis of gender, location, background, culture etc. - and get this team to meet every month/quarter and decide/ formulate policies - while keeping the business objectives and culture in mind. This also increases ownership as now you have these policy representatives who will go back to their teams and ensure compliance - pretty much like a democratic government making laws. Empower team members to make policies - and you will see them work.

The best feedback loop is from your users or customers. Develop a " customer advisory board " which is diverse enough and can give you enough advise to ensure you are aware of changing needs and competitors, and can move swiftly. The customer advisory board is going to be more valuable by a mile than any other board you might have.

The 2 main skills one must have to develop and keep a team going are Resilience and Empathy. Resilience as time are going to get tough! Empathy because when times get tough - you can understand and help people in your team to emerge as winners - caring about your team members wins automatically makes you and the company a winner:)

One of the best ways to foster diversity in your team is to make the decision making team more diverse - from backgrounds, teams, genders, age, etc. We created a "lighthouse team" in our organization which was the team which decided key initiatives and policies in the organization - and this lighthouse team was a truly diverse team - so not only does the leadership and HR design policies - a diverse lighthose team does. This is the fastest way to start introducing decision making which is more diverse - paving the way slowly for a more diverse management and leadership team in due time !

A system for monitoring an electrical device and a method thereof is provided, wherein at least one primary unit is connected with an input side and/or an output side of the electrical device and configured to obtain electrical parameters of the electrical device. A secondary unit is connected with each primary unit and configured to receive the electrical parameters obtained by the primary unit, store the electrical parameters to form a repository of previously obtained electrical parameters, compare the electrical parameters with previously obtained electrical parameters to determine any deviation in the electrical parameters and correlate the deviation in electrical parameters with a list of impending faults to identify any impending fault. The secondary unit based upon the correlation of the electrical parameters generates a summary and/or alert indicative of state of the electrical device by way of alerts, notifications etc.
